Terms of Sale

The French version of this document is the authoritative one. The English, Spanish and Arabic translations are provided to make reading easier; in the event of any discrepancy, the French text prevails.

1. Purpose

These Terms of Sale govern subscriptions to the paid plans of the KnowledgeCapital Service.

2. Plans and prices

The plans and their prices are set out on the Pricing page. Prices are stated in euros, excluding any taxes applicable in the customer's jurisdiction.

3. Subscribing

Subscription takes place online. It entails acceptance of these Terms of Sale and of the Terms of Use.

4. Free trial

A free trial of fourteen (14) days may be offered, with no commitment and no payment card. When the trial ends, full access requires a paid subscription.

5. Payment

Payment is handled by a third-party payment provider acting as reseller (“Merchant of Record”), which issues the invoice and manages the applicable VAT. No bank details are stored by the Publisher.

6. Term and renewal

The subscription runs for the term chosen (monthly or annual) and renews by tacit agreement, unless cancelled before the renewal date.

7. Cancellation

The customer may cancel the subscription at any time; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current period. Amounts already paid are not refunded pro rata, unless the law provides otherwise.

8. Modules and plan changes

The features available depend on the plan subscribed to. A move to a higher plan takes effect as soon as it is paid for.

9. Sovereign edition (on-premise)

The edition installed on the customer's own premises is the subject of a specific quotation (licence and maintenance), governed by a separate agreement.

10. Liability

The Publisher's liability is limited to the amounts actually paid by the customer for the subscription concerned.

11. Governing law

These Terms of Sale are governed by the law applicable at the Publisher's registered office, subject to any mandatory consumer protection provisions.
