In short. The sovereign edition is the same product, installed on your machines: one server with 2 cores and 4 GB carries a few hundred people, on Ubuntu Server or Red Hat, with SQLite or PostgreSQL. Nothing requires an outbound connection: the AI, video conferencing and CV reading stay with you, even with no internet.
The self-hosted edition is the same product, installed on your machines. It is intended for organisations whose knowledge cannot leave their perimeter, whatever the contract says.
What you need
| Recommended | |
|---|---|
| Operating system | Ubuntu Server LTS or Red Hat family |
| CPU / memory | 2 cores and 4 GB for a few hundred people; 4 cores and 8 GB beyond |
| Storage | 50 GB, plus room for backups |
| Database | SQLite for small deployments; PostgreSQL for large ones |
The installer
An installation script sets up the service, the web server, the database and the scheduled tasks. It is meant to be run by an IT team, and it explains what it does at each step rather than working silently.
SQLite or PostgreSQL
The application behaves identically on both — no application code changes, only the database address. SQLite suits small structures and needs no database server to administer. PostgreSQL is the right answer above a few thousand simultaneous users, or when your policy requires a managed database.
The PostgreSQL path has been tested end to end on PostgreSQL 16: all schema migrations apply, and a live SQLite database of more than a thousand accounts has been migrated across and opened successfully.
Fully offline
Nothing in the product requires an outbound connection to function: the interface loads no third-party script, the video conferencing is yours, and CV reading happens on your machine. An air-gapped installation is a supported configuration, not a workaround.

Frequently asked questions
Does the on-site edition work without internet access?
Yes. An air-gapped installation is a supported configuration: the interface loads no third-party script, and both the video conferencing and the AI run on your machines.
SQLite or PostgreSQL?
SQLite for small structures, with no database server to administer; PostgreSQL above a few thousand simultaneous users, or when your policy requires it. The application behaves identically.
Do the connectors work in the on-site edition?
Yes. They read your systems from inside your network: Confluence Server or Data Center, CMIS or WebDAV document management, intranet. SharePoint Online and Notion, for their part, need access to their online services.
