In short. Reversibility is a screen, not a clause: the space owner exports everything, at any time, without going through us. The ZIP archive holds every table in CSV and JSON, the attachments, the academy media, a README and a manifest. It re-imports elsewhere, including onto your own servers.
Reversibility is usually a clause in a contract that nobody has ever tested. Here it is a screen.

What the export contains
- all the data of your space, in a ZIP archive: every table in CSV, readable in a spreadsheet, and in JSON, faithful to types, with a README describing each file and a manifest counting the rows;
- the media attached to it — documents, images, academy content;
- the identity of the space and its settings.
What it is for
- Leaving. Taking your data elsewhere, without asking anyone.
- Moving in. Going from the hosted edition to your own servers, or the reverse, carrying everything.
- Proving. Showing an auditor that the exit is real, by doing it.
What is recorded
Every export and every import is written to the audit trail: who, when, which space. An operation of this size does not happen quietly.
Our position. A supplier that makes leaving difficult is telling you what they think of their own product. We would rather be kept because staying is worth it.

Frequently asked questions
In what format does the data come out?
A ZIP archive: every table in CSV, which opens in a spreadsheet, and in JSON, faithful to types; attachments as real files; a README and a manifest describing the whole.
Do you have to ask us for the export?
No. The space owner triggers it themselves, from a screen, at any time.
Can we move from the hosted edition to the on-site edition?
Yes. The exported archive re-imports onto your own servers, and the reverse. Every export and every import is written to the audit trail.
