KnowledgeCapital: frequently asked questions

Local AI, timelines, mastery levels, trial, export, on-site edition, HR systems, languages, pricing: the questions we are actually asked, answered plainly.

In short. Short answers to buyers' questions: your data trains no AI, a first process is assessed in one hour, the 14-day trial needs no card, everything exports from a screen, the on-site edition works without internet, and the interface exists in French, English, Spanish and Arabic.

Do you use our data to train an AI?

No. Your data is not used to train anything, ours or anyone else's. The AI features that exist run on the server that holds your space, on your data, for you.

How long before we see something useful?

One process, honestly assessed, takes about an hour and produces real findings — see Your first hour. A department takes a few weeks, most of it spent on mastery assessment, which is work only your people can do.

Who fills in the mastery levels?

A knowledge manager or a line manager, in conversation with the people concerned. It is a judgement, and the product treats it as one: it is dated, attributable, and revisable.

What happens at the end of the trial?

Nothing is deleted. The space is kept and can be reopened.

Can we export everything and leave?

Yes, from a screen, at any time — data and media. See Reversibility.

Is there an offline / on-premise edition?

Yes. See Running it on your own servers. It works with no internet access at all.

Do you integrate with our HR system?

People and reference frameworks can be imported from files, and accounts can be tied to a corporate directory. A live two-way integration with a specific HR suite is a project, not a checkbox — talk to us about what you have.

What languages does the interface support?

The interface is available in French, English, Spanish and Arabic, including right-to-left layout for Arabic.

How is the price counted?

Per tracked person per month — the headcount you map, not your whole payroll. See Opening a space.

I type the site address and never reach the sign-in screen. Is that normal?

Yes, by design. The bare site address leads to the public site, and so does any unknown address. You reach your space through the personal link sent in your welcome message — or through the space's own address, if the organisation has one. A customer's sign-in screen is not a public door: finding it should not be a matter of guesswork.

The surest answer: try itOpen a trial space on demonstration data, or ask for a guided demo: we answer your questions on your own cases. Start a free 14-day trial (no card needed) or request a demo.

Frequently asked questions

Can we connect SharePoint, a document management system or Notion?

Yes. The SharePoint and Microsoft 365 (Microsoft Graph), document management (CMIS 1.1 or WebDAV: Alfresco, Nuxeo, Nextcloud…), Notion, Confluence and intranet connectors are shipped, read-only.

Can we start from a completely empty space?

Yes. The trial space opens on demonstration data; the “Start from scratch” zone of the Org chart screen erases it while keeping your administrator account, and you then build the org chart, processes and framework step by step.

Which backups protect our space?

A backup every night — full on Saturday, light on other nights — verified by a test restore right after it is written.

Where does the artificial intelligence run?

On the server that hosts your space, in the hosted edition as on-site. No data is sent to an external AI service.
