What is KnowledgeCapital? The knowledge ERP

Knowledge management software: who knows what, which know-how rests on one person, what to hand over before someone leaves. Local AI, cloud or on-site.

In short. KnowledgeCapital is knowledge management software, a “knowledge ERP”: it maps who knows what, computes the criticality of every piece of knowledge (single holder, upcoming departure, transmissibility, importance) and organises the handover through tests, validated lessons learned and the academy. The AI stays local, in the cloud edition as on your servers, in four languages.

KnowledgeCapital maps what an organisation knows. Not its documents — its knowledge: the things that live in people's heads, that make a process work, and that walk out of the door on the day those people do.

It answers four questions that most organisations cannot answer today:

The dashboard: every site on a map, coloured by the state of the knowledge its teams actually hold.

Confined by design

The word matters. KnowledgeCapital is built so that an organisation's knowledge never has to leave its own network. There is a fully self-hosted edition that runs on your servers, behind your firewall, with no outbound connection required — including its own video conferencing, so that a knowledge-transfer session between a retiring expert and their successor does not transit through a third party.

The hosted edition runs on a dedicated server at Oracle Cloud Infrastructure, with one isolated database file per client. No shared table, no shared row: your data and another client's data are not in the same place at all.

The proof of containment: while this block is green, no information from your base can leave your network — and the link lets you check it yourself, attempt by attempt.

What it is not

It is not a document management system, and it is not a wiki. Both assume knowledge has already been written down. KnowledgeCapital starts from the opposite premise: most of what matters has not been written down, and the first job is to find out where it sits and how exposed you are.

In one sentence. Document management protects what has been written. KnowledgeCapital protects what has not.

Frequently asked questions

Does KnowledgeCapital replace our wiki or document management system?

No. It reads them, read-only — Confluence, SharePoint, Alfresco, Nuxeo, Nextcloud, Notion, intranet — and attaches each document to the knowledge it describes. Your wiki and document system stay in place; the risk measurement sits on top.

Does the AI send our data to an external service?

No. The AI engine runs on the server that hosts your space. Your data trains no model and is passed to no third-party AI service.

Can we install it on our own servers?

Yes. The sovereign edition installs on your premises, including on a network with no internet access. It is the same application as the hosted edition.

Which languages does the interface support?

French, English, Spanish and Arabic, with a right-to-left layout for Arabic. The documentation and the academy follow the same language.
